Urvi and Tristam
Their paths crossed when they were both in their twenties, freshly graduated (she in sociology, he in comparative literature), inexperienced and unsure of what we wanted to become. They were temping for a minuscule department in a big hospital in London. For almost three years they shared the same dingy office in the basement behind the outpatient clinic. She lived in the unglamorous part of the edgy arty east London, while he lived in the up and (never) coming south east.
